whoops, nope, that’s just shading! I’m not sure he would want a goatee, the situation would get…………….hairy (bah-dum-tish).
Ego stop feeding the shippers, gosh.
OOOR I could just keep drawing cutesy winter-themed doop, I like that option better!
(coming soon: luna takes everypony to prom, no one is sure how to feel about this)
(tumblr stop deleting my text when I try to post this GOSH)
I want to draw doopy winter-themed pictures with snow and scarves and presents and no one can stop me!
bah I can never decide on cutie marks for the bats, this is like the billionth time I’ve changed them. :I Too bad Sunny, your cutie mark is now BEAUTIFUL DELICATE MOONFLOWERS (just like you).
Part 2 of 3 of the stuff I did for Scootaloo the Adventurer! Al asked about having an older Ziggy/minitaur, so I did the design and some general drawing notes on him. It was fun but weird, I hadn’t really thought of how he would grow up and I didn’t want him to look too much like his mom or Iron Will (and I wanted to keep his heart-shaped nose ‘cause I think it’s cute). :U
(Granny Smith: not actually appearing in StA…OR IS SHE????*)
* secret final boss, but you didn’t hear it from me**
** I’m kidding***
*** …OR AM I????
About a month ago, AlSkylark (the guy behind Scootaloo the Adventurer) got in touch with me to ask for some input on his Moonstuck storyline, aaaand I got totally carried away and drew him some stuff to try and get my point across because I suck at explaining (plus I am a giant egophiliac who is willing to go above and beyond to talk about my dorky ideas). He said it was okay to post, so here it is!
This is Finlandia, the kingdom of the Lunar Maria. (I had forgotten that 1) I named it Finlandia, and 2) all the holes in the coral were an elaborate cheese joke oh god I’m embarrassed for myself.) My description was thus:
"Iit’s basically built inside of a giant floating mountain, similar to an iceberg but made of ~magic lunar rock~ — it’s ridiculously huge (a whole city lives in there after all) and the top part that sticks out of the water is its own mountain. The palace takes up the top part, and the city is in the lower half.
It’s in kind of the central hub of the waterway system; the surrounding area is full of various entrances and exits. Woona essentially broke through the outside of a waterway tunnel (it was a wall because…because.) and followed it to the kingdom, luckily without getting sidetracked into giant electric eel territory or something.”
(This is really part one of the three things I designed for StA, but he asked me to hold off on posting those until they show up in-story. :B)
The ones from Moonstuck are Sunshine (eyepatch) and Meadowlark; the guys from Slice are Barry (the pirate) and Dave. Because no matter where you go, there’s always some guy named Dave.
Yep! (Although apparently I screwed one of them up, whoops. I can’t read music, I just copied it off of sheet music. :x)
Yep! The rightmost passage was the one that led her to the moon caves and abandoned bat pony colony. :D
