for some reason the archive and timestamps show those first posts as the 24th, but tumblr also shows them as the 23rd using /day and sends me those “your blog is turning [#]!” emails on the 23rd, so I’m not sure what date it actually thinks they were. (postlimit doesn’t work anymore but, before the FAQ was pinned, it also gave me the 23rd.) the image files from that first batch of commands have creation dates of the 23rd, going from around 10 PM to 1 AM – and the first one after midnight corroborates /day view for the 24th – so I went with that! ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

thank you!! 🖤🖤🖤 it’s always amazing to me how many people still love Moonstuck and look back on it fondly, even after all this time.

I don’t think I’ll ever do a command-based project again on the same scale – or at least not without a very different setup – at its best it was a lot of fun and a great way to stretch the old creativity and improv muscles, but at its worst it was super overwhelming and like every bad customer interaction I’ve ever had rolled into one. just kind of a lot for one person to deal with, especially at that time in my life!

that said it’s funny you should ask, because I’ve been kicking around ideas for another (much smaller, much shorter) project that would be along the same lines. I’m not sure if it’s going to be feasible, what with having a Career™ now and other stuff to juggle, but if I can I’d like to! :D

thank you! it’s hard to believe it’s been 9 years since moonstuck started. like…almost a whole decade and everything. I’m really glad my silly grey princess and her moon adventures brought so much joy to people! :D

thank you!! Moonstuck might have been just a silly pony comic, but it led directly into some of the best friendships and experiences I’ve ever had, and it means the world to hear that it had a positive effect on other people too. 🖤

honestly I can’t believe it’s been seven years since it started (which means about six since it ended?). it feels like it was both a lifetime ago and just yesterday…and now it’s too old to get into the movies for free, and soon it won’t be able to order off the children’s menu anymore. :( I should start thinking about something to do for when it turns 10!

hmm not really! they all kind of speak in a variant of my head-voice, which would be a very very weird dub. :x a lot of what I have in mind is probably really straight-forward, like Imogen being very soft-spoken and Danger being more upbeat. and they’re all a little high-pitched because they’re still kiddos after all!

hmm I’ve thought about that occasionally but I never really decided! I love the idea of her being all blue and sparkly and covered in gemstones, but I still want her to have long brushable hair. and what about her leg-hearts? :( a conundrum!

I guess we can say that she has hair because 1) she’s a shapeshifter so she can be as hairy as she wants, and 2) Moonstuck is an AU anyway so you can’t tell me what to do DAD.
